This role provides expert advice and support to the staff of Primary Health Care and ensures infection prevention strategies are evidence-based and within a risk management framework that complies with national standards.

You will have:
Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligible for the same.
Graduate Diploma, or equivalent, beyond entry to practice relevant to specialty area.
Must be willing to travel to remote communities by 4WD and light aircraft.
Registered Nurse Division 1 with minimum 5 years in similar senior clinical nurse leadership role in Health or Aged Care.
Post graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Management, or gerontology, clinical management.
