About the role: The Nurse Manager plays a central role in orchestrating and overseeing clinical care services and resource allocation for Interventional and Ambulatory services within the Medical & Interventional Services (M&IS) portfolio. Medical & Interventional Services (M&IS) oversees the clinical operations across fifteen medical sub-specialties, spanning the JHH campus, Maitland Hospital, and extending to community sites as far west as Tamworth and north to Taree. The successful candidate will join the esteemed M&IS Leadership Team, supported by the Service Manager, Deputy Director of Nursing, Medical Director, and Finance and Administration Managers. This role is pivotal in shaping the operational and strategic direction of M&IS, contributing to its vision and leadership.

Our successful candidate will possess the following:
Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with APRHA, with demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge of management experience applied in a mixed acute clinical environment. At least five years post graduate nursing with 3 years' experience in a management and leadership position with post-graduate qualification Masters level. About you: You will have substantial expertise in both operational and strategic management, with a proven ability to lead teams and oversee services effectively within the industry. This is enhanced by a specialised tertiary qualification in management, ensuring well-rounded and impactful leadership. Additional information: Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week commencing Monday 25th November 2024.
