Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing healthcare team at Armstrong Creek Doctors. You will collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide the most comprehensive care possible to our patients. With each patient, you will take vital signs, discuss their symptoms, document their health history, administer medications, and provide resources and information on how to manage their medical issues at home. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of a variety of illnesses and injuries as well as a compassionate and hard-working attitude.
The chosen candidate will provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients, through:
Immunisations and other injectionsTriageChronic disease managementECGsExplaining procedures to patients, providing them with support and reassuranceAssisting with care plans and shared health summariesAssisting with telehealth consultationsAssisting doctors with clinical procedures and maintaining clinical documentationDaily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilization, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipmentImplementing and practicing infection controlAssisting with Reception and Practice Management dutiesDo you have the qualities that we are looking for? Current AHPRA registrationEnjoys working in a team environmentWorking experience in an accredited General Practice environmentA caring and collaborative approach to patient careA sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalismProven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skillsUse of Best Practice programs preferredExperience and knowledge of care plans and health assessmentsIn addition, the candidate must also provide the following:
