About us:The Education and Research Unit provides Nursing and Midwifery education, professional practice development services, and Clinical Practice Improvement initiatives for nursing and midwifery staff, to facilitate the achievement of best practice health service delivery requirements.
The Education and Research Unit is led by the Nursing Director of Education and Research.About the role:This role provides nurse educator support to nursing staff involved in chronic and acute renal disease services including:Rockhampton Renal ServiceRockhampton Hospital Community Dialysis CentreCapricorn Coast Renal Service (commencing 2025)Central West Renal Unit (commencing 2025)Gladstone Satellite Renal UnitWoorabinda Satellite Renal Unit.About you:A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.A relevant postgraduate qualification in which clinical education was a component is a requirement of this position.
Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion of the required post-graduate study within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance review process.What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $103,280 p.a.
