(pro rata) + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsTemporary up to 31/3/26 and part-time with various hoursAbout the Role As a Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing nursing practice across our organisation. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will provide education, training, and learning opportunities that align with the latest evidence-based practices. Your responsibilities will include coordinating educational support, overseeing clinical teaching in the Emergency Department, and facilitating daily in-service sessions to ensure that staff remain at the forefront of quality patient care. You will also manage clinical competency assessments and work closely with postgraduate students to support their professional growth.
This position requires an individual committed to improving nursing practices and fostering a positive, safe work culture. You will be accountable for the outcomes of nursing education programs, ensuring alignment with organisational policies and addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy. Collaboration will be key in this role, as you work alongside Nurse Unit Managers and other Nurse Educators to meet learning objectives and achieve desired outcomes. Your contributions will help maintain high standards of care and support ongoing professional development, ultimately improving patient and client outcomes across our services.
About You We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and driving change in healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a blend of clinical expertise, educational innovation, and leadership skills.
Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage change effectively.Proven ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate nursing education programs.Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice, legislation, and quality improvement systems.About CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
