We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a suitably experienced and energetic senior nursing professional with business acumen skills to step into the roleof Nurse Director with the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG).
As a member of the leadership triumvirate (with the Medical Director and Service Director) the Nurse Director is jointly responsible and accountable for achieving the strategic and operational objectives defined by the Hospitals. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership and direction in all facets of nursing/midwifery service and practice withinthe directorate.
This role collaborates with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services, the Director of Clinical Services and the Executive Director to lead the ongoing development and implementation of Nursing practice and standards of care across the FSFHG.
We currently have one permanent full time vacancy available to be filled. The current Nurse Director vacancy is in the "Surgical Specialties and Women, Children and Newborn Services" stream.
The successful candidate will becommitted to undertaking the duties of the role in accordance with the WA Health Code of Conduct, the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Vision of Excellent health care, every time, and Values of Care (Kaaradj), Integrity (Ngwidam), Respect (Kaaratj), Excellence (Beli-beli) and Teamwork (Yaka-dadjoo).

SMHS oversees several key health facilities which include the FSFHG.Fiona Stanley Hospital(FSH)is a 783-bed tertiaryhospital providing diverse services, including state rehabilitation, cancer care, mental health,maternity, and neonatal services, alongside specialized treatments like heart and lungtransplants. Fremantle Hospitalis a 300-bed facility focused on aged care, mental health,rehabilitation, and planned surgeries and medical services.
