About the role The Registered Nurse, Nurse Counsellor coordinates and delivers high-quality person-centered nurse counselling and clinical care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) and BreastScreen NSW.
Undertaking clinical responsibilities and is also responsible for; contacting women (for a timely appointment) recalled to attend an assessment clinic, attending on-site clinics (and other sites when necessary) as an active member of the assessment team and managing the clinical concerns raised by women relating to their screening episodes.
