Nupac is a trusted leader in the provision of packaging and processing machinery for the food and pharmaceutical industries across Australia and New Zealand. With a 40+ year history, Nupac represents globally renowned machinery suppliers with a tight knit and experienced local team.
As Nupac continues to grow and strengthen, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee and lead key departments within Nupac. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with existing GM experience or stepping up from a management position with a strong sales focus, proven people management skills, and a solid understanding of operational management, preferably within a capital equipment environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, providing strategic leadership across departments. Support the sales team and drive business development opportunities to achieve company's objectives. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Work closely with the Accounts team to ensure financial targets are met and risks are managed including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility. Ensure the efficient delivery of services to clients, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the Service and Spare Parts departments to optimize processes in alignment with company objectives. Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, identifying areas for improvement. Align departmental goals with the overall vision of Nupac and monitor progress against objectives. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a management role, ideally within a similar environment, such as capital equipment or industrial machinery. Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive work culture. An understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities. Ability to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with long-term strategic planning, ensuring both immediate and future business needs are met. Exposure to sales, particularly in complex, high-value sales environments. Experience in capital equipment sales would be highly regarded. Why Join Nupac?
