I-MED is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with diagnostic CT experience.
You will be based across two campuses: I-MED Devonport and I-MED North West Medical Centre, Burnie.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm.
However, part-time applicants will also be considered.
Reporting to the Nuclear Medicine Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures, to the highest standards.
As a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, and eager to learn in both a busy private practice and hospital settings.
In addition to providing Nuclear Medicine scans, this position requires you to undertake shifts in Devonport, performing diagnostic CT.
Key Responsibilities: Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures to the highest standards. Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers. Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist: To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently. The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff. Tertiary qualifications in Nuclear Medicine. AHPRA Registration and eligibility for a Tasmanian Radiation Licence through I-MED. Diagnostic CT accreditation (advantageous).
