Based at our St Vincent's clinic in Launceston, a locum opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.
We need assistance from October 2024 to April 2025.
Travel and accommodation will be provided.
You will be rostered Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7 am - 6 pm, including an on-call requirement.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures, to the highest standard.
Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures, to the highest standard
Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
AHPRA registration and a VIC radiation license
