We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join us in North Tasmania for a 6-month secondment, from late 2024 to mid-2025. As the area's leading provider of radiology services, we offer Nuclear Medicine services in both Burnie and Launceston. You will encounter a wide range of unique and interesting cases in both public hospital and busy outpatient clinic settings.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures, to the highest standard.

Your Responsibilities Perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures, to the highest standard Deliver consistently high levels of patient care and service Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers Promote and maintain the highest quality and safety standards Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff A tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine AHPRA registration and a VIC radiation license How to Apply
