Description: The Role
MAKING THE PROMISE*
Reporting to the Sales Director, this position is responsible for:
Achieving the commercial state sales goals of the business in line with strategic and commercial plans.
The ongoing improvement in processes, systems, activities, and relationships leading to optimal commercial performance of Fairview's state sales team.
Work collaboratively with other Fairview teams to ensure they can 'deliver the promise'.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the State Sales team to generate consistent and sustainable sales results and growth that supports the overall company's vision, aims, targets and core values.
Developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans and then orchestrating the successful execution of these strategies to achieve the Sales order targets.
Managing and leading sales resources to optimise specifications and win rates.
Selling profitability. Hitting product GP $ and %.
Managing the Sales aspects of Installers, people, process, and systems required to achieve the sales objectives. Processes documented and kept up to date.
Mentoring & developing talent within the sales engine to ensure a strong talent pipeline and succession plan to support the businesses growth objectives.
Setting of team, individual and product sales goals, tracking sales, producing sales reports and data analysis, complete monthly forecasting and setting of sales department budgets.
As a member of the Fairview Management Team:
Work in alignment across the business.
Actively participate and contribute to Leadership Team.
Contribute timely and accurate reporting to CEO and Board to provide visibility over the pipeline and clarity on strategies, tactics, and action plans.
Skills and Experiences:
Demonstrated experience in a sales role.
Strong communicator who develops strong and productive internal and external relationships.
Knowledge of, and experience in, business systems (IT) use and optimisation.
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in team management.
Qualification in sales or management.
An understanding of Fairview, its brand, and products.
Knowledge of the building or civil construction industry.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be backed up with a strong team of sales support talent. This is a busy role, driven by strategic sales process and you will be measured on activity KPIs as well as sales results. Work directly with the Sales Director to set sales strategy and growth targets.
