We design, integrate, support and maintain high quality Audio Visual and Unified Communication systems and solutions into corporate, government, education and defence sectors.Our NSW office is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staging Supervisor to join our Engineering team.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the preparation, testing, and configuration of AV / UC systems before they are deployed to client sites.
This position demands a balance of strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring quality and efficiency in staging operations.If you have a passion for leading teams, solving technical challenges, and delivering systems to the highest standards, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Team Coordination: Lead the daily tasks and schedules of the staging team to meet project deadlines and priorities.System Preparation: Oversee the configuration, testing, and quality control of AV systems to ensure compliance with client specifications and Pro AV standards.Process Management: Identify inefficiencies in staging operations and implement improvements to optimise workflows.Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-deployment checks and validation testing, ensuring staged systems are reliable, functional, and ready for client deployment.Inventory Management: Manage tools, equipment, and inventory levels to avoid delays or shortages in the staging process.Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor staging technicians, ensuring team members adhere to Pro AV best practices.Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering, Deployment, and Project teams to ensure seamless integration between staging and installation phases.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of staging processes, including build configurations, quality checks, and test results.Key Experience & Capabilities:Education: Diploma or degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Audiovisual Systems, or a related field (preferred).Experience: Minimum 3 years in AV staging, system configuration, or a similar technical role, with proven team leadership experience.Technical Skills: In-depth expertise in AV systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.Familiarity with AV testing tools and validation processes.Proficiency in project management software and tracking tools.Certifications: AV industry certifications such as CTS or CTS-D (highly regarded).
Workplace safety certifications (WHS) are a plus.Competencies: Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality systems.
