About the role We have a unique opportunity for a Retail State Sales Manager based in New South Wales. This role involves implementing strategies and initiatives to achieve our retail business goals while fostering a team-oriented culture that drives profitable revenue growth.
Reporting to the Retail National Sales Manager and leading a geographically dispersed retail team of 5 direct reports, you'll be tasked with developing, communicating and executing strategic imperatives ensuring we meet both our financial and non-financial targets.
In this role you will leverage your industry knowledge of the home improvement market as you work closely with Bunnings, IHG (M10 / Home Hardware) and other hardware customers. The primary focus of the role is to develop the capability and effectiveness of the Sales Executives and to utilize our CRM tools and brand advocacy data to drive growth.
The role requires regular travel, including overnight stays, to coach the team and spend time with customers across New South Wales.

Responsibilities Develop the sales team's capability to add value and influence outcomes with stakeholders.Understand and analyze market dynamics and requirements to achieve financial goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and management teams.Optimize the adoption of our CRM tools to improve Sales Executives' performance.Skills & Experience Proven experience in the home improvement industry and/or working within a big-box environment.Engaging retail sales leader with expertise in building sales capability and driving results.Experience in implementing sales strategies with various customers, monitoring performance and maximizing outcomes.Proficient with computers and technology, including experience using a CRM system.A flexible and effective communicator, capable of engaging and influencing various stakeholders.Account or category management experience with strong commercial and analytical capabilities.Why DuluxGroup?
