You're passionate about a career delivering solutions that impact millions. In this role, you'll: Be a part of the Supply chain team within the Engineering and Maintenance division. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented supply chain professional to support and optimise our maintenance supplies ensuring seamless business operations. Provide technical support while forecasting, advising, planning and coordinating cost-effective supply chain requirements for effective delivery of enterprise Annual Works Plans (AWP), Major Periodic Maintenance (MPM), and routine and ad hoc maintenance to high customer service, safety and compliance standards. Perform Material Requirements Planning reviews, manage relevant inventory replenishment activities, and make recommendations that optimise inventory levels to minimise cost, drive reliability, and mitigate obsolescence risks to meet maintenance requirements. Manage various internal stakeholders by understanding their requirements and providing timely and cost-effective solutions to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Who you are: You are a self-driven, enthusiastic Supply Officer with an agile and flexible attitude. You have industry experience in forecasting and optimising maintenance-related inventory. You are an expert in Supply chain processes while identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies that directly contribute to our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Demonstrated experience in managing maintenance-related supplies and spend analysis to identify and drive cost savings is highly regarded. Prior experience within the rolling stock or heavy engineering industry is advantageous but not essential. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills and business acumen. A proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement will set you apart.
