In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Forecasting & Scheduling team within Sydney Trains (Intercity) delivering optimised schedules and forecasts to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules that support train crew movements, infrastructure changes, and compliance with industrial agreements.
This includes collaborating with the team to manage schedules for timetables, events, and projects, while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Identify and solve challenges by monitoring, adjusting, and improving schedules to enhance efficiency and meet operating requirements in a dynamic rail environment.
This is an in-person on-site role located at Sydney CBD (Haymarket).

Qualifications:
Your experience in assessing and analysing operational programs and ability to construct schedules and rosters will see you excel in this role.
You bring a proven track record of planning, prioritising, and coordinating work activities in operational, time-critical environments.
You're skilled at producing practical solutions to complex situations involving train working, ensuring efficient and effective outcomes.
Your thorough knowledge of train crew qualifications, including rolling stock, rail corridors, and local operating agreements, will enable you to navigate and address the unique challenges of this role.
