Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Sexual Assault Service is looking for General Practitioners and other medical practitioners, eligible for registration in New South Wales for the above position, to join the sexual assault service after hour's roster.
No previous specialised experience is required as training and support will be provided.
The on-call roster is approximately 1:7 (with a minimum commitment of 1 shift per month) and is reasonably flexible.

Purpose of the Position Provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) facility or service.
This care will be provided within the scope of practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC).
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within the District.
Selection Criteria MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Applicants must have either Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine - FRACP, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Fellowship of a recognised Australasian Specialist College or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
