Cradle Coast Authority (CCA) is a local government organisation that is jointly owned by the councils of north-west and western Tasmania who aim to make our region a better place to live, work and invest.
CCA provides strategic services and support to our Member Councils, including developing partnerships, sharing services and building opportunities to benefit the region.We are seeking a Natural Resource Management (NRM) Officer to coordinate and implement NRM strategies and weed management activities for Waratah-Wynyard Council and Circular Head Council.
The NRM Officer will be supported by the Cradle Coast NRM team.Responsibilities:Coordinate and implement NRM initiatives, including weed management strategies, to protect and enhance natural values within the Circular Head and Waratah-Wynyard municipalities.Undertake the statutory weed inspector functions.Provide NRM advice and encourage local community participation in NRM activities.Build partnerships and seek opportunities to support NRM in the region.Undertake other duties as directed.The NRM Officer will split their time equally between Circular Head Council and Waratah-Wynyard Council offices.The position is offered on a permanent full-time basis with a base salary up to $78,503 per annum depending on the successful applicant's knowledge, skills and abilities.To view the full position description, please visit www.nrmjobs.com.au/job/20023717.Applications are to be submitted via email to ****** and must include:A brief cover letter describing your interest in the role and key relevant experience.Current CV.If you have any queries, please contact Bonnie Bonneville via email ************ or phone 03 6433 8***.#J-18808-Ljbffr
