About the role: At NQ Eye Specialists our Practice Nurse is a highly valued member of our clinical team. Importantly, you will support our ophthalmologists to provide quality healthcare in line with our clinic's values. This opportunity will utilise your excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering a high standard of care across both clinical and surgical settings.
You will be offered training and guidance to perform your daily responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to:
Preparing patients for their appointment by taking clinical measurements, patient history and performing specialised imaging Assisting ophthalmologists of varying subspecialty with both inpatient and outpatient procedures Providing evidence-based patient education Maintaining competency in clinical skills Adhering to infection control policies and procedures and maintaining a clean and sterile environment About you: Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Undertakes accurate and efficient data entry Demonstrated flexibility within the work environment; ability to adapt to changing conditions Completion of relevant qualifications (both EN & RN will be considered) with current registration If you would like to discuss this opportunity in greater detail and/or have a copy of the position description made available to you please contact Kelli at NQ Eye Specialists on 1300 856 074 or ******.
