Nq Business Development Manager

An opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager to join our Townsville operation.

Our business operates in recycling scrap metal, which involves the acquisition, processing and sale of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Action Metal Recyclers has 10 branches throughout Queensland, with the Townsville branch an important footprint for the Group.

The role is responsible for acquiring both new business and maintaining the existing customers that are already being serviced.

Responsibilities include:
Regular contact with our existing customer base.
Prospecting businesses that have been identified as meeting our criteria.
Daily CRM reports.
Regular monitoring and reporting of competitor activity.
The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate:
Strong track record in sales, ideally from the industrial sector.
Well-developed self-management & motivational strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in this industry is not necessary, as full training will be provided.
