About the role
We're seeking registered Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Exercise Physiologists to conduct NPA assessments.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with employment service providers (e.g., DES providers) and employers to provide Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA), Supported-Wage Assessments (SWS), and Workplace Modifications Scheme (WMS) assessments.
Identify employee barriers to accessing or doing their work, and recommend intervention, equipment, modifications and/or other support to help them overcome these barriers.
Assess and consider employee worksite tasks, work environment, and disability-specific barriers preventing the employee from completing their work tasks.
Interact with clients, JobAccess Providers, and employers to organise assessments.
Make independent recommendations of capacity for participants that will enable them appropriate support for their employment.
Complete Assessment Reports detailing the outcomes of the assessment and quotations.
It's essential that you:
Are an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Exercise Physiologist and fully registered with an Australian Governing Body (e.g., AHPRA or ESSA).
Have a satisfactory criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent), or willingness to complete them.
Have a current and unrestricted driver license with access to own vehicle.
Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in disability.
