The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to ensure our site operates efficiently, safely, and reliably.
This hands-on role involves maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of equipment, from utility services and processing machines to packaging lines and distribution systems.
In this role, you will:
Ensure Reliability: Support the Site Reliability Managers and Engineers to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Diagnose and Fix Issues: Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis on site equipment.
Collaborate with Experts: Work with external providers to meet reliability goals.
Optimize Inventory: Use our CMMS system (MEX) to manage parts and servicing schedules effectively.
Mentor and Train: Share your expertise by coaching the reliability and operations teams on safe and efficient procedures.
Lead Improvements: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented technician with a strong focus on safety.
Required Skills & Experience :
A-Class Electrical License with experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
Proficiency in CMMS systems and inventory management.
Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, SCADA systems, and schematic diagrams.
Highly Regarded Skills :
Boiler and steam maintenance qualifications.
Formal training on Tetra UHT filling and packing systems.
Your Attributes:
A "can-do" attitude with exceptional attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
A collaborative approach and willingness to provide on-call assistance when required.
