Due to an increase in projects, we are offering a lifetime career opportunity for a passionate Assistant Accountant to join our growing Finance team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Assistant Accountant, you will provide timely and accurate accounting processes and functions for Norton Paddington and Binduli Operations, while maintaining the highest level of support and assistance to the Finance team in special projects when needed.
Prepare insightful reports and dashboards to monitor performance. Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and strategic spending recommendations. Analyze costs and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency. Support key decisions with financial models and scenario analyses. Ensure compliance, handle closures, and contribute to audits. Communicate financial insights clearly across teams and management. WHAT YOU WILL NEED
A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Working towards a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification (highly regarded). A minimum of 2 years' experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation, and providing financial advice (mining experience highly regarded). Practical experience in the use of MS products, particularly Excel and large ERP systems. BENEFITS
