About the Opportunity
The Data Analyst gathers data from varied and disparate sources and interprets this data for further information and value to enable the successful delivery of NTPHN's strategic objectives.Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.
The Data Analyst will have program officer level duties for the data program and requires advanced communication skills.
This roleliaises directlywith internal NT PHN teamsand external providers ofdata andis responsible formanagingmultiplepriorities and service demandsacrossall NT PHN offices.
If you have the following skills and experience, we'd love to chat:
Knowledge or training equivalent to a minimum of an undergraduate degree and or equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training Experience using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.
Extensive experience transforming data using scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R Scripts Demonstrated knowledge or willingness to develop competency in various analytical and database technologies, such as SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio Proven experience in working with contemporary general practice clinical software and clinical audit tools, such as the PenCAT suit, Primary Sense or Polar or demonstrated ability of learning software tools quickly Basic knowledge of repository management skills, such as handling branches, commits and version control workflows.
Or the ability to learn these skills quickly Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc) Proven ability to effectively plan and manage multiple and competing priorities in the delivery of defined or agreed services Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data analysis, data integration, data modelling, and data security Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication ability coupled with strong relationship building skills What's in it for You?
