The successful candidate will have: APHRA registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner and / or Cert IV Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or similar highly desirable Aboriginality: Social Futures considers that being Aboriginal is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act of 1977 (NSW) An understanding of and commitment to the Aboriginal communities respecting traditional culture, values, and ways of doing business Experience providing high quality customer-centred assessment and support in an AOD service or similar setting. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships. Demonstrated well-developed organisational, time management and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines. Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work.
