The Role
As a NILS Loans Officer, you will play an important role by supporting clients in financial need and helping them access safe and affordable credit.
Working within our dedicated Social and Financial Inclusion team, you'll conduct loan interviews, assist clients through the application process, and provide support every step of the way.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to empower people, promote financial literacy, and connect clients with the broader range of services we offer to build stronger, more resilient communities.
Northern Rivers Community Gateway has been delivering welfare and community capacity building programs and services in Lismore for nearly 50 years.
Today, our service delivery footprint has expanded across the Northern NSW region.
This role is based in Lismore; however, at times you will be required to travel to various other locations around the NSW North Coast region.
Selection Criteria
An understanding of the needs of people on a low income Relevant qualifications and/or experience to undertake the range of activities required Ability to meet targets, work flexibly, and within tight deadlines Computer literacy and experience in databases and Microsoft Office programs Experience in the microfinance or loan field Additional Requirements
