The Role Working within a team of dedicated Financial Counsellors, and reporting to the Senior Manager - Service Delivery, this is an exciting new role due to growth.
This position is 35 hours per week (permanent part-time) , Monday to Friday.
Remunerated at a level 4 SCHCADS Award + Super + the opportunity for generous salary sacrifice (take home more pay!)
You'll play a key role in empowering consumers to manage their finances, alleviating the impact of credit over-commitment, and providing community education and community development activities to increase financial literacy around credit and debt issues.
This role is based in Lismore, however at times you will be required to travel to various other locations around the NSW North Coast region.
Selection Criteria: Diploma of Financial Counselling and relevant work experience. Knowledge of state and federal credit and debt legislation. Strong service delivery skills, including assessment, counselling, and advocacy. Understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in a culturally appropriate way. Additional Requirements: Accreditation (or eligibility) with the Financial Counselling Association of NSW (FCAN). Current NSW driver's license. National Criminal History Records check.
