Job DescriptionAbout the role We are looking to work with a skilled, self-motivated, and details-driven individual to join our team, based at our Midkin facility just north of Moree, NSW. The role will revolve around your superior technical ability.
You will assist the Site Manager and site Electricians with project planning of electrical works, including contractor engagement and supervision. You will be responsible for and control of the PLC, computer control systems including SCADA and Schneider systems, that allows the Control of industrial processes locally or remotely to allow changes to any machine. This includes updating and backup of these systems and keeping electrical documentation up to date. You are also to ensure Electrical Maintenance and Operational reliability is of a high standard within Budget constraints.
Other requirements may also include assisting managers with the recruitment, training and development of the Electrical team.
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you Other desired skills and experience for this role include:
NSW or equivalent Electrical Licence.
Valid Driver's Licence.
Hands-on process experience to fully understand the issues and how to best handle them.
The ability to work under pressure, autonomously and maintain self-motivation.
Excellent understanding of Electrical Engineering principals and fundamentals that meet the Australian standard.
Experience with the management of Electrical projects, setting and delivering measurable goals.
Works in a collaborative manner with people in own team, as well as in other parts of the organisation.
