Are you passionate about helping a community-driven club grow and succeed? We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Fundraising Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key role in raising funds that directly impact the club's growth and success. Your efforts will support the club's activities, foster community engagement, and ensure a sustainable future for all.
Key Responsibilities: Develop Fundraising Initiatives: Lead the planning and development of new fundraising initiatives, creating proposals for approval by the executive committee. Coordinate Fundraising Activities: Oversee and coordinate fundraising efforts across all areas of the club, ensuring each initiative is managed effectively. Organize and Lead Fundraising Teams: Select and organize individuals to manage specific fundraising activities, ensuring that everyone involved is clear on their roles and responsibilities. Create Annual Fundraising Budget: Develop a comprehensive budget for fundraising activities as part of the annual financial planning process, setting clear targets to maximize revenue. Plan Fundraising Events: Ensure fundraising events are well placed within the club calendar to achieve the best results and align with the club's goals. Promote Fundraising Events: Actively promote all fundraising activities to engage the club community, ensuring maximum participation and support. Maximize Financial Benefit: Ensure that all events are designed to deliver the highest possible financial returns for the club, while also supporting charity and local causes. Organize Off-Season Fundraising: Plan and coordinate fundraising activities outside the regular season to maintain a steady stream of income year-round. Assist with Other Club Activities: Take on additional tasks as requested by the president, executive, or general committee to support the broader goals of the club. Who You'll Work With: Revenue Streams Manager: You will report directly to the revenue streams manager to ensure alignment on fundraising strategies and goals.
Communication, Membership, and Sponsorship Managers: Liaise closely with these managers to promote fundraising efforts and integrate with club communications, memberships, and sponsorships.
Football Club Manager: Work alongside the football club manager to coordinate logistics for fundraising events and activities.
What We're Looking For: Leadership and Organization: A highly organized individual with the ability to coordinate and lead teams of volunteers and staff. Strong Communication Skills: You'll be responsible for promoting fundraising events and collaborating with multiple teams, so excellent communication is key. Passion for Community Impact: A genuine desire to contribute to the success of the club and its community. Financial Acumen: Ability to create and manage budgets and ensure financial goals are met for each fundraising activity. Creative Problem Solver: Think outside the box to develop innovative fundraising strategies that engage the community and deliver results. Commitment: This volunteer position requires a regular commitment to planning and executing fundraising activities throughout the year. Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to help with planning in the off-season and be actively involved in events throughout the club's calendar.
