A kind and loving family in North Strathfield are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their happy and content twins, 2 years.An ideal nanny would be nurturing, calm, happy and friendly. A nanny that is open to engaging and having fun with the children, spending time outdoors and providing stimulating and creative activities.A nanny that is reliable, respectful and honest and can follow routines. Experience working with twins is advantageous for this role.The role will consist of mostly caring for the twins. Additionally, some light household duties, cooking for the family, picking the twins up from daycare, evening routines (bath, dinner & getting the children ready for bed), family laundry (if time allows) and contributing to the smooth running of the household.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:To care for the twinsFollow afternoon/evening routinesPlay and engage in age-appropriate creative activities to assist in the children's developmentDay care pick up (short walk or can drive family car)Preparation of meals and snacks for the childrenCooking of family mealsOutdoor playAssist with some light household dutiesFamily laundryGenerally keeping main areas clean and tidyStart date: Early April 2024Contract: Long term permanentPay: From $35-40 per hour inclusiveThe days and normal hours are: 4 days – 16 hoursMonday – Thursday – 2pm – 6pmThe family's expectations from their nanny are:2 years experience working with young childrenExperience working with twins preferred but not essentialHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current working with children's check numberDisplay strong communication skills and speak English.To be fit, healthy and activeMust be able to swimAutomatic Drivers LicenceJob Reference: LLS138Please quote job reference in the comments section of the application form.
