Opportunity We are actively seeking an experienced, pro-active and personable Sales and Parts Interpreter to join our welcoming and supportive team in our Midvale Branch. As Sales and Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately entering and coordinating sales orders and liaising with the sales team to communicate delivery timeline expectations for Normet customers.
What we offer Full-time permanent position I Monday to Friday I 9am - 5pm Annual remuneration review Training and professional development including access to global training programs Employee Assistance Program, Rewards & Recognition, and Years of Service Programs Supportive team culture and engaging work environment Free onsite parking Call back allowance Uniforms provided Key responsibilities Provide sales quotations of goods offered by NAP at customers' request Manage spare parts sales and inquiries on our national support hotline Prepare and issue invoices and sales orders to confirm spare parts and after-market service orders Coordinate purchase order authorisation with the head office as required Source and procure non-genuine spare parts when necessary, ensuring compliance with quality and pricing standards Perform quality checks on received goods, ensuring pricing accuracy, and follow up on outstanding orders as needed Provide timely and accurate sales order confirmations to customers Complete business and back-order reporting accurately and within deadlines Collaborate with management, workshop, and sales teams to establish sales forecasts and address future production supply needs Oversee production jobs, ensuring efficient workflow and operational accuracy by opening, monitoring, managing, and closing these tasks Ensure customer satisfaction in relation to spare parts sales and inquiries, with all relevant information accurately captured in D365 Leverage D365 data management tools to plan and meet customer delivery expectations. Ensure full and timely sales delivery (DIFOT) by effectively managing data and collaborating with the sales team on delivery requirements Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to identify needs and recommend suitable spare parts solutions Support the sales team by identifying and promoting upselling opportunities. To shine in this position, you will need 2-3 years' experience in Parts Interpreter or Spare Parts Administrator role or similar. Preferably with a heavy machine focus. Experience with ERP systems is essential; proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly regarded Solid experience in the processing of purchase and sales orders Ability to interpret spare parts manuals and drawings High-level of organisation, problem analysis and problem-solving skills Highly organised, flexible, and proactive with a positive can do' attitude Self-driven and results orientated Ability to influence others and implement change Able to perform in a highly agile and changing work environment Ability to achieve results and work under pressure To be available to be part of the Call Back Roster Full working rights in Australia is essential in order to be considered for this position. The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
