Normanhurst Part Time Nanny / House Manager – ref LLN199
A kind, loving, and professional family in Normanhurst are seeking a calm, organised and proactive nanny to join their busy household and take care of their two happy girls, aged 7 and 4 years.
An ideal nanny would be a calm and organised person who is a caring, respectful, and positive role model for the children.
A nanny who is engaging, supportive, enjoys working with children and is genuinely interested in the children's lives and well-being.
A confident nanny who is proactive in supporting a busy household, managing laundry and cooking and following the children's schedules.
The family are looking for a nanny to stay long term, to build a lovely bond with their children and become part of the family.
The nanny must be comfortable with one or both parents working from home.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:
To care for the children
Follow the children's routines/schedules
Collect children from school and preschool
Unpack school bags and lunch boxes
Meal preparation and basic cooking for the family
Assist with homework
Take the children to after school activities
Household management including family laundry, packing/unpacking the dishwasher and keeping areas clean and tidy
Contract length: long term / permanent role
The days and normal hours are: 2 days – 14 hours
Tuesday and Wednesday 11 am – 6 pm (can be flexible and do Monday and Wednesday if this works better, or shorter hours spread across three days)
The family's expectations from their nanny are:
Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or child care experience
Childcare qualification is preferred
Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
Have a current Working With Children check number
Display strong communication skills and speak English
To be fit, healthy and active
NSW Drivers licence, clean driving record and own car
Honest and reliable
Up to date with all vaccinations including covid 19
