Nonprofit Technology Fellowship

Nonprofit Technology Fellowship
Company:

Okta, Inc.

Details of the offer

Meet the thought leaders who are building the future of technology, innovation, and social impact. Background In 2019, Okta for Good launched the Nonprofit Technology Initiative - the foundation of our three-year commitment to invest $10 million out of the Okta for Good Fund. In 2021, we announced the Nonprofit Technology Fellowship as a new program within the Nonprofit Technology Initiative. We're excited to welcome our third cohort of Fellows in the fall of 2023. Fellowship Experience & Expectations Technology is an increasingly important aspect of every nonprofit's plan, and Okta for Good recognizes that the impact of any tech is ultimately determined by people: people who understand how technology can improve direct services, people with experience building and maintaining technology within nonprofits, and people with the courage to share their wisdom with others. Accordingly, the goal of the Fellowship is to empower a diverse collection of rising nonprofit technology leaders to enrich the sector with their experience and become more effective strategic leaders within their organizations. During the six-month Fellowship, Fellows develop at least one significant piece of content, which could include items such as an article, conference session, or internal presentation. Okta for Good supports Fellows with professional development through facilitated convenings, coaching, and networking in addition to providing a $25,000 grant to their organization. Cohort convenings are virtual and mandatory. A full schedule will be provided to Fellows upon acceptance. Our goal is to form a cohort that is diverse in many ways. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. Candidates must be employed full-time by a 501c3 nonprofit (for US-based organizations) or your country's equivalent. Candidates' jobs should be focused primarily or exclusively on technology.

Application Period The application period for the Nonprofit Technology Fellowship is now closed. Please revisit this page in Fall 2024 for detailed instructions on applying for the next cohort. #J-18808-Ljbffr
