The Cardiac Services Department at the Mackay Base Hospital are looking for 2 x Non-Interventional Cardiologist Staff Specialists to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department.
This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia's largest regional healthcare facilities.
You will work within a team environment, contributing to the provision of high standard clinical services to patients of the Health Service.
Located on the mid Queensland coast, this tropical paradise is a holiday hotspot and only 75 minutes' drive from Airlie Beach and a one-hour flight from Brisbane.
