Our core activities include land holdings and development, labour hire, property development, heritage monitoring, ground maintenance, and investments.
About the Larrakia Development Corporation Board: The Corporation's Board is focused on successful commercial outcomes, the settlement of the Kenbi Land Claim, reinvesting and building the company, adherence to the Larrakia Development Trust, maintaining the Larrakia Distribution Policy, and promoting employment and business opportunities for Larrakia people.
Non-Executive Director competencies include: High level of integrity and ethical standards;Effective communication and emotional intelligence;A strategic mindset with strong business acumen, commercial astuteness and financial literacy;In-depth knowledge and understanding of directors' duties and good corporate governance principles;Engaged commitment and effective time management.The board is committed to diversity and to recruiting non-executive directors that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and expertise.
Candidates should have either completed the AICD Directors Course or be willing to undertake this training.
Candidates will have a tertiary level qualification in business, law, management, accounting or a related field.
Our non-executive directors should have strong local links with Larrakia and the local Darwin community.
