Non-Destructive Testing Technician, Engineering Service Industry Fusion NDT is a proudly Tasmanian owned and operated Non-Destructive Testing company, based in Tasmania, we are seeking to obtain a Testing Technician.
We specialize in various forms of Mechanical Testing and Non-Destructive Testing.
Our staff's experience dates back to 1998, working in a wide range of industries, including: oil, gas, pipeline, mining, fabrication and power generation.
Fusion NDT is an experienced friendly team that strives to provide quality service in an approachable and friendly manner.

Qualifications & experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with an eye for detail and an interest in engineering and metallurgy.
Prior experience in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing is preferred but we will also consider providing the opportunity of training for a candidate with a NDT, trade or experience in engineering.
The candidate must have good planning and communication skills and be flexible with their ability to adjust and perform work under changing priorities.
The candidate must be able to work unsupervised and be able to recognize opportunities for improvement where available.
Tasks & responsibilities
FusionNDT is seeking an individual to join a Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) team.
The successful applicant will be tasked with completing site inspection duties, encompassing PAUT Data acquisition, PAUT Data Analysis, and the reporting of findings.
The successful candidate will operate within the FusionNDT quality management system, which necessitates performing the required checks and calibrations to meet the standards of a NATA-endorsed testing facility in accordance with ISO17025.
