About the IT ES Group: The IT Enterprise Systems (ES) office is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the University's key administrative applications, such as the PeopleSoft Student Records application. The Enterprise Systems group conducts computer programming, troubleshooting, and database administration, as well as application training and user support.
Job Duties and Responsibilities The IT Enterprise Systems group is seeking a UHD student to provide project assistance support Work closely with the IT ES project managers and ES technical managers Assists with project-related tasks (update project status reports and project plans with guidance from Project Manager) Tracks project action items and completion of essential deliverables; Follows up where needed Performs administrative duties such as answering phones, scanning, copying documents, meeting scheduling, and note-taking Performs other job-related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent note-taking skills Must be available 20 hours per week. Must have the ability to multi-task and interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff Must Possess good organizational skills Must be a self-starter Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others Must be dependable and willing to learn new skills EEO/AA
