Description: The Sports & Fitness Social Media Assistant is responsible for providing/supporting the online social presence of Sports & Fitness.
Specifically, this includes assisting with the content creation and marketing efforts of all Sports and Fitness activities.
Also, assist with data assessments pertaining to Sports & Fitness.
DUTIES Manage and work with a team on social media contentEngage with peer students for original contentAssist in guerilla-style marketing during university-wide events and sports and fitness eventsAssist with staff to create content for various social media platformsUpdate with new content to all our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTubeAssist with video shootsAssist with photoshootsMaintain a positive, friendly, and professional environment.
Wear staff apparel and maintain a clean and professional appearanceAttend occasional staff meetings, Sports and fitness special events, and university/division-sponsored eventsOffice responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry, telephone calls, filing, running errands, greeting visitors, and other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Interested in social media content, video, photos, graphic editing, recreation, athletics, or fitnessPossess supervisory skillsFriendly, dependable, outgoing, and a team player skillsHelpful and customer service skillsMust be willing or able to work afternoons, weeknights, and weekends, depending on the program scheduleHeavy lifting and loading are required occasionallyQualifications Must be a current UHD student with a 2.0 GPARequired Attachments by Candidate: Resume, Class Schedule
