Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity is available for passionate NOC (Network Operations Centre) Operator based in Perth or Brisbane About the Role: Take on a key role in our Network Operations Centre at Opticomm, managing and executing Level 1 NOC tasks to ensure top-notch network performance and customer SLA compliance.
In this role, you will ensure the network operates efficiently with maximum uptime, manage incidents to minimise impact on end users within SLA frameworks, and escalate issues to the appropriate support teams promptly.
You will also take ownership of key internal and external relationships to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational processes.
Adherence to regulatory and compliance frameworks is essential, and you must be available to work within a 24/7 NOC operations team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prioritise, classify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting Opticomm customers within SLA frameworksAnalyse, plan, deploy, and test changes for Opticomm customers or partner services according to SLAsProvide regular updates on customer tickets and manage outage notifications to customersAcknowledge network alerts and take appropriate actions towards resolution including escalation to internal teams or upstream carriers if requiredEnsure service and support tickets are actioned in line with client SLAs, tracking through to completionValidate Planned Works, raising timely notifications to stakeholders and assessing change success with escalation when requiredEnsure data integrity in network management tools and accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and network assetsParticipation in a 24x7x365 rosterAbout you: The ideal person for this role will have/be:
