Remuneration as a Senior Staff Specialist will be considered and is subject to CE Approval.
What you'll be doingProvide contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services for optimal patient outcomes at the Network Hospitals including Inpatient Services, Outpatient Clinics, Hospital in the Home and Consultancy where applicable. Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

Where you'll be workingThe Clarence Health Service includes a level 3/4 facility providing care to over 13,000 inpatients each year. We work closely with Maclean District Hospital as well as other hospitals in Northern NSW and tertiary hospitals in Southern Queensland to support the healthcare needs of our community. Minimum RequirementsEligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Paediatrician, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in General Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine at the role delineation of the service.Demonstrated recent clinical experience with Child and Adolescent medicine as well as children with complex care requirements.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment and availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time frame.Need more information?For role related queries or questions contact Dr. Harvey Lee, Director Medical Services at Email: ******
