Night Hotel Reception / Relief Night Manager

We are looking for a committed night owl for our Luxury Hotel in the Newcastle CBD.Crystalbrook Kingsley has transformed Newcastle's former Council Administration Centre into an elegant and sophisticated 130-room five-star hotel with a signature rooftop bar and restaurant, lobby bar and café, and two private meeting venues. With the City Hall Civic Theatre, Newcastle Art Gallery, and War Memorial moments away, Kingsley is culturally connected, celebrating what has been and what is to come.The RoleReporting to the Rooms Division Manager and Night Manager, you understand the types of things that can occur overnight and are willing to take it all on. You will be the person who knows how to get things done, and you enjoy a challenge.Responsibilities:Efficiently auditing the current day trading transactions and ensuring that they are properly balanced and posted.Anticipating and exceeding guest needs and whims immediately as they occur during the night shift.Accurately identifying when discrepancies exist within the daily reports.Assisting with the required system back-up and maintenance programs and procedures.Ensuring security is upheld throughout the hotel on a nightly basis, including security walks throughout the hotel.About You:A love of crunching numbers and an eye for detail.Previous Hotel Front Office experience is essential.The ability to work with Opera and a general understanding of hotel room operations.A personality to rival any sunrise you will see!You are able to balance the requirements of night shifts and are seeking regular shifts across a 7-day roster.The Benefits:This is an important position within our team at Crystalbrook Kingsley, and you will be part of an exceptional team and work in a supportive and passionate environment where you will be dedicated to providing extraordinary experiences for our guests.
