The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges is an iconic 300 room hotel located in the heart of Fremantle. With large conference facilities and 4 separate dining areas, the hotel is a bustling building with a lot going on!
About the role Applicants must be motivated to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for all key performance areas, guest satisfaction, handling guest requests, and check in/out.
The role will be on a rotating roster with the hours of 10pm – 6am.
Job Function Ensure that a full file save is completed successfully each night. Ensure clear and comprehensive communication with the manager on duty. Balance financial transactions of each account. Prepare reports. Communicate with guests and staff. Check guests in and out of the hotel. Assist with room service orders. Successful applicants will have the following essential attributes: Immaculate presentation, personal style, and advanced communication skills. Anticipate and exceed guest expectations through an intuitive approach to guest services. Ensure the smooth running and security of the hotel overnight. Accurately complete reports, accounts, handovers, and guest correspondence. Ensure all cashiering procedures are followed.
