About the role
Are you a night owl? QT Newcastle is looking for its next Night Auditor, who challenges our expectations and brings new and exciting ideas to create exceptional guest experiences across our amazing spaces.
The successful individual must have outstanding problem solving skills and an excellent eye for detail. You will handle all guest queries and requests and ensure they are managed promptly and to an extraordinary standard. Previous Accounting or Night Auditing experience required.
Ensure opera and relevant software rolls day successfully each night. Complete reporting daily and ensure it is compliant. Achieve a high level of service that meets and exceeds guest expectations and handle complaints and problem solve so that they leave impressed and content. Develop and assist in training, creating procedures and implementing new initiatives. Manage and maintain hotel assets in Front Office areas and the hotel. Record and investigate the daily reconciliation of the hotel and outlets. Report generation and distribution within the hotel and stakeholders. Skills & experience
A passion for the service and hospitality industry. Excellent customer relations, problem solving and communication skills. To achieve a level of service quality that consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of guests. To assist, establish and implement training modules for Night Audit staff with particular emphasis on structured on-job-training. Proven experience within a hotel or similar experience, night supervisory roles ideal. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. Excellent time management and problem solving skills. First-rate customer service and communication skills. Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
