Company DescriptionA 292-room Resort, spanning over 3.5 hectares of manicured gardens with significant food & beverage operations, two pools and extensive conference facilities, Mercure Gold Coast Resort is an oasis located amongst expansive gardens on the Gold Coast with a team of 150 employees and growing.The property's leadership team aspires to attract, develop and retain amazing talent who are passionate about fostering a great work environment across all departments while creating memorable experiences for their guests.We have an opportunity for a Night Audit Supervisor to join our fast-paced and dynamic front office team, on a 6-month fixed term contract.Job DescriptionWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Working overnight from 11pm to 7am.A part-time position with 30 hours guaranteed per week over a regular roster, including weekends and public holidays.Assist the Night Manager on Duty with daily balancing and reconciliation, across the night audit process.Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and for the duration of our guest's stay.Maintain a high level of professionalism, maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.Assist guests with luggage and other concierge duties as required.Take responsibility of Manager on Duty tasks and responsibilities in their absence.QualificationsYOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:Excellent verbal and written communication skills contributing to positive customer service experience, preferably working within a Front Office department within a Hotel or Resort.Competent computer user with competency in the Microsoft Suite preferred and experience with Opera PMS highly regarded.An ability to work overnight shifts across a 7-day roster, with the availability to work shifts across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays.Previous Night Audit experience preferable.Additional InformationWHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?Hourly supervisor wage, paid in line with the Hospitality Industry General Award 2020 + Superannuation.Employee benefits within the exclusive ALL Heartist Program, with worldwide discounts on accommodation and food & beverage, and Family & Friends discounts for those who mean the most to you.Endless opportunities to build your skills and expertise to help reach your career potential and personal goals, supported by the Accor Academy and extensive Learning Management Systems such as Learn Your Way and Typsy.Internal recognition events such as tenure milestones.Employee Assistance Program.Daily meals provided on shift and free car parking.And most excitingly, this is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fun Resort environment with a supportive team and a proven history of developing their people.
