Business Development Manager - Technical Sales - SA/NT The Company:

The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be tasked with developing a Business Plan and Sales Strategy to ensure sales goals and growth objectives are met in your assigned territory. With a healthy mix of new and existing business, your key accountabilities will include:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region Developing strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets Managing assigned Key Accounts and continuously improving customer relationships to capture value-adding opportunities and expand product and service offerings Creating detailed quotes and project specifications that outline the technical requirements, design, and functionality of the project Providing ongoing support to customers throughout the project, acting as a liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring that customer needs are met Developing promotional campaigns and marketing solutions Attending trade and networking events to expand footprint and generate leads Analysing current market trends, competitor products and market share Monthly sales forecasting and reporting Your Profile
Our ideal candidate will have several years' experience in similar technical sales and business development roles, with a real hunger for seizing opportunities regardless of what challenges may arise. You will also have the following skills and attributes:
A demonstrated track record for achieving results and growth within your portfolio Previous experience collaborating with engineers, architects, plumbers, builders, developers and government agencies Experience working within the Water industry would be highly advantageous Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflict The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment effectively, meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work Current and valid Driver's license In return, you will be offered a competitive remuneration package, generous incentive program, tools of trade, empowering leadership, mentoring and the opportunity to develop your career with a true market leader in their respected field.
