Reporting to the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Advisor, the Health & Wellbeing Officer will provide a wide range of Health & Wellbeing support services to New Hope Group as part of the Corporate Safety & Wellbeing Team.
This role will suit a recent Safety & Health Graduate, or an Administrator looking to further develop their Safety & Health Skills. Based in Brisbane this role will require site visits to our operations, predominantly in Queensland.
What you'll do: Provides a high level of administrative assistance to the Safety & Wellbeing Team for day to day functions including invoicing, Safety and Wellbeing cyclical processes, Safety and Wellbeing Projects, and any other initiatives.Provides a high level of administrative assistance with the Training and Awareness Processes including scheduling of training, data entry, contractor communications, site communications, and reporting.Prepares general communications, as required in a timely manner.Maintains the Safety and Wellbeing inbox and provides timely response to queries and actions.Schedules Corporate Training and follows up when required to ensure that training assigned to personnel is completed in a timely manner.Creates and assists with E-Learning platform including compliance checks and creation of training as required.Coordinates the end of month reporting across team to ensure timely completion by sites and within the team.Assist in coordinating meetings, function and activities as required including minute taking and management of minutes.What you'll bring: A recent Safety & Health Gradate or equivalent professional experienceInterest in working in mining or heavy industryWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with both internally and externallyEffective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and commitmentsDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamIntermediate skills in Microsoft office suit (Word, Excel, Outlook).What we offer Professional, friendly business culturePaid Parental leave for primary and secondary caregiversCorporate discounts for private health, gym membershipSubsidised self-education supportEmployee Assistance ProgramReward and Recognition programProfessional Development opportunitiesAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we encourage people from diverse backgrounds to apply.
