About the role It is an exciting time in Verbrec as we focus on and grow our Automation & Control Systems presence in all areas of IIoT, Industry 4.0, IT/OT, Systems Integration, Automation and Control Systems.
This growth has opened opportunities in our Adelaide team for a Senior Technical Officer. Reporting to the Automation & Control Systems Manager, you will be working closely with our multidiscipline team of Engineers, Project Managers and Electricians. You will be responsible for applying your broad skills and experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU, Telemetry systems to update and commission these applications, as well as diagnose control circuitry and other technical problems.
About you As a Senior Technical Officer you will ideally bring to the role:
Current unrestricted electrical licence (A class license) with automation experience; Capable of working in team and autonomous work environments across client sites and in our office; Strong SCADA capability particularly ClearSCADA, Citect, iFix and others from design to implementation; Strong capability with RTU's and PLC platforms (i.e. Honeywell, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider); Excellent problem solving and fault-finding skills with process control hardware and software An attitude to drive innovation through integrated process control solutions (i.e. wireless, IIoT smart field devices, remote monitoring and support); A willingness to travel to site-based projects across South Australia and be part of an on-call roster.
