On the back of continued growth and project success, our Adelaide office is looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team! As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines Performing pipe stress analysis Developing and supporting FEED and Design studies including detailed design calculations Developing and supporting the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets Participating and supporting in Risk assessment & SMS workshops Preparing and supporting cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages Writing technical reports as required. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be capable of supervising a passionate team of engineers and designers to produce engineering deliverables to Verbrec's and clients' standards. As such you will be required to demonstrate the following on an ongoing basis: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes related to the pipeline industry CPEng Ability to perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
