The Position
We invite applications from inspired and proactive History Teachers. This is a part-time 0.6FTE fixed-term position for Semester 1, commencing 28 January. Reporting to the Acting Head of History, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in History to Years 7 & 8.
The candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content, use technology to support teaching, understand individual learning needs, and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements
Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). A strong background in teaching Humanities and related subjects. Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students, ensuring they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular, and pastoral care, in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
