About the Ngaanyatjarra Council
Welcome to Ngaanyatjarra Lands, a vibrant tapestry of culture and community nestled within the vast beauty of the Australian desert.
Home to approximately 2000 Yarnangu (Ngaanyatjarra people) across 11 unique communities, our council is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich heritage spanning over 10,000 years and 250,000 square kilometres.

Established in 1981, the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group (NCG) represents the interests of the Ngaanyatjarra People across the 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Western Australia.
Employing in excess of 450 people, NCG provides a wide range of services, including health, utilities, construction, employment, community development, shops, roadhouses, art centres and land services.
It is one of the largest and most successful Indigenous organisations in the country.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Team Administrator .
This vital role provides essential support to the General Manager and Manager Operations Support, ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.

You will take ownership of diverse responsibilities, including managing schedules, preparing invoices, supporting contract compliance, coordinating logistics, and performing general office duties.

Requirements:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join us as a Team Administrator .
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in administrative or assistant roles and demonstrate exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
You will be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and capable of managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with invoicing and contract compliance is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:
Assist the General Manager with scheduling, email management, and project coordination.
Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely submissions with accurate documentation.
Monitor and report contract compliance, including tracking critical deadlines.
Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and assist with onboarding processes.
Manage deliveries, errands, and logistical tasks to support office operations.
Support event planning and office organisation projects.
